• The word Nesian derives from the areas that make up the Pacific: ​MicroNESIA, PolyNESIA & MelaNESIA.

• Nesian Pride has been a part of Sunameke’s history since 2005. We are committed to our Pacific community locally and nationally.

• Our aim is to showcase the true multicultural nature of Darwin’s Pacific performing community. To promote positive messages to the wider community about our combined diverse Pacific cultures working together. 

• Our Nesian Pride Nights have always Sold Out.

• In 2012 and 2013 we have had Pacific and Indigenous guests from the National Rugby League - David Mead, Dean Widders, Nigel Vagana, Clinton Toopi, and Roy Asotasi.

• Nesian Pride is like no other event in Darwin. Those who have sponsored Nesian Pride have contributed towards the Darwin Pacific Community.
